Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said to him, “O Abu Huraira, be cautious and you will be the best worshiper among the people; be content with what Allah has given you and you will be the richest among the people; love for the Muslims, the believers, and the people of your house what you love for yourself; and hate for them and the people of your house what you hate for yourself, and then you will be a believer; be a good neighbor to whomever will be your neighbor among the people and you will be a Muslim; and do not laugh too much, for indeed, too much laughter will corrupt the heart.” [Al-Bayhaqi, Shu’b Al-Iman, Number 10369, Sahih]

Ar-Rubai bint Mu’awidh reported: The Prophet, peace be upon him, came to me after consummating our marriage and he sat on my bed as you are sitting now, and some young girls were playing the tambourine and singing in lamentation of my father who had been killed on the day of the battle of Badr. Then one of the girls said, “There is a prophet among us who knows what will happen tomorrow,” so the Prophet said, “Do not say this, but continue saying what you have said before.” [Sahih Bukhari, Book 59, Number 336]

Abdullah ibn Salam reported: When the Prophet, peace be upon him, arrived in Medina, the people rushed to him and they said three times, “The Messenger of Allah has come!” I came with the people to see him and when I saw him, I recognized that his face was not the face of a liar.
